Title: Lions Eat Lambs
Author: Raggdolly
Fandom(s): Twilight/The Most Dangerous Game (implied)
Rating: R or NC-17, depending on how strong your stomach is.
Word Count: ~45,000
Warnings: Vampire violence, strong language, some sensuality.
Summary: "A camping expedition goes awry when Bella's friends disappear. While searching for them, she stumbles upon the manor of Edward Cullen, unaware that she is about to become a pawn in his dangerous game - a game she can't afford to lose. AU/OOC/Vamp & Human/"Darkward"" -- Raggdolly

Note from Reccer: I'm recommending this for those who prefer dangerous/nasty/bloodthirsty vampires, particularly those folks who find Edward's "vigilante" days more believeable than his love for Bella. If you believe Edward is a complete psycho and wished he'd just OWN THAT SHIT, this'll be right up your alley.

Read "Lions Eat Lambs" here.

Title: Poor Unfortunate Souls
Fandom(s):Fifty Shades Trilogy
Rating: R
Word Count: This Chapter: 2,483, Everything: Lots.
Inspiration: Blame gehayi, people. She mentioned in the comments way back around chapter 4 ofFifty Shades Darker that she'd love to see a) Grey properly prosecuted for his crimes, b) some kickass ladies taking him down, c) Grey pitted against an awesome wizard, or d) all of the above. This is option d.
Warnings: For the whole fanfic: Discussions of: rape, stalking, emotional abuse, psychological abuse, gaslighting, financial abuse, and identity theft. Mentions of possible child abuse, and malpracticing doctors and psychiatrists, domestic abuse, and wrongful imprisonment. Christian Grey demonstrates signs of either being a malignant narcissist or having antisocial personality disorder. Elena Lincoln is the same pedophile that she is in canon. Nearly everyone else in this story has PTSD. Discussions of other mental illnesses. Offscreen Violence. Sexual acts native to the Fifty Shades canon.
Chapter Specific Warnings: None.
Summary: Kate decides to hire a pair of detectives to investigate Christian Grey, in the vain hope that she can find a way to keep Ana safe from him. The detectives have no idea what a mess they've just signed up for, but it's not just Grey they'll end up investigating, though his crimes are many.
Author's Note  Allie and Lindsay belong to me, Fifty Shades does not, and this is an urban fantasy AU containing magic but no supernatural creatures.

Title: Uncommon Monsters
Author: [livejournal.com profile] afterandalasia
Fandom(s): Twilight
Rating: M/R (For violence)
Word Count: 24,235
Inspiration: Leah Clearwater being awesome.
Warnings (skip) Graphic violence, OC character death, strong language. Discussion of morality. Imprinting appears but is not considered at length.
Summary:
"My name is Leah Clearwater. I'm a werewolf, and I kill vampires. It's a long story, twisted, downright fucked up. And this was where it nearly ended."

It may not be the best of lives, but at least Leah Clearwater has figured this one out: hunt down vampires, kill them, and move on. Don't expect thanks, and don't wait around for revenge.

But occasionally, things don't go to plan. Suddenly, Leah finds herself facing what might be the most rational vampire she's ever met... and too
late, she realises that might have distracted her from a far larger danger.

Sequel to 'To Catch a Monster', set two years later, but can be read independently.
Notes: More Leah Clearwater kicking ass, now with 200% more fight scenes. (Literally.) Although the story is self-contained, there is a third part to come and so some story threads are not fully tied up. These include: (skip) meeting Aro and what Aro wants with Leah, Julian's sister and the imprint.

I originally intended to continue to post the story here, but it got so long that became difficult. So I'm posting the link, having checked the rules to make sure that isn't disallowed.

Title: The Anticlimactic Non-Imprintment of Embry Call
Author: Guns_and_Drums
Fandom: Twilight
Word Count: 277K
Rating: R/NC-17
Summary: "I'd accepted the fact that I was going to imprint just like my other brothers had. I'd been pretty much been waiting for it. Then one day, Sam goes and blows my mind: I might not imprint. So, I have to find a girlfriend all by myself? This sucks…"

This is the piece that will attempt to combat many of the major issues I have with Twilight. Nothing is sacred. Mid-BD AU.

Reccer's Notes: I really, really love this story. The tag "imprinting that doesn't erode the foundation of my soul" is awesome enough, and mostly this is an exploration of the ideas of imprinting. It goes from mid-late Breaking Dawn and continues beyond, setting up for the big fight scenes and epic showdowns that everyone was secretly (or not-so-secretly) hoping for. There's plenty of Native American mythology that is genuinely respected and used in an interesting way, not to mention that is has LGB and disabled characters, and an OFC who doesn't make me want to throttle things. Which are always good.

(Also, I'm not tagging for all of the characters because basically everyone makes an appearance. It's about the Wolfpack in general, though, so I'll roll with that.)

Title: Three Shades of Steele
Author: [livejournal.com profile] gehayi
Fandom(s): Fifty Shades of Grey
Rating: Teen
Word Count: 11,321
Inspiration: Chapters 22 and 23 of Fifty Shades of Grey. This was the result of a Yuletide prompt requesting crack about "Ana's inner goddess becoming a real person" and my own desire to have things go better for Ana in Georgia.
Warnings: I chose not to warn. (However, this is about as worksafe as you can possibly get.)
Summary: A jinn transforms Ana Steele's subconscious and inner goddess into living people. Permanently. That's the good news.

These…these former pieces of her were more whole than she was, which made Liz's merciless intelligence and Kitti's unashamed sexuality nearly intolerable. The same words kept slamming into her brain like a sledgehammer. That was me once. Or that could have been me. And I gave it all up. I threw every particle of myself away.

Because it had to be posted at some point, and it might as well be me.

If you haven't read the Growing Up Cullen LJ-RP series yet, I think now is a good time to come out from under that rock you've been hiding. This series should be required reading for anyone who is anti-Twilight. Ratings-wise, I would consider it PG-13 due to some language and sexual humour.

Part 1: I like how we turned Edward into a 40 year old mother on a bad day.

Part 2: YES, I AM DOING THAT "EMO BULLSHIT," I CAN FEEL IF I WANT TO
http://balcarin.livejournal.com/462772.html

Part 3: STOP TWIRLING THE POOL STICKS, THEY ARE NOT TOYS! YOU DON'T GROW BACK EYES, EMMETT.
http://balcarin.livejournal.com/463133.html

Part 4: I feel totally validated that Growing Up Cullen is canon thanks to the Midnight Sun leak.

Part 5: Growing Up Cullen: Christmas with the Cullens

Title: Lucky Number Thirteen
Author: Das Mervin
Fandom: Fifty Shades of Grey
Word Count: 10,210
Rating: PG-13 to R, depending on your sensibilities
Inspiration: The book in general, but mostly the part where Grey admits to legitimately hurting one of his subs by tying her up too tightly during a suspension scene
Warnings: Very frank and intimate discussion of BDSM lifestyle and kink
Summary: Anastasia Steele learns the difference between a slave, a sub, and a doormat.
Author’s Note: This one’s for you, Gehayi and Ket. I admit I had to fiddle with the timeline a little so this could work, but really, I don’t feel at all bad. E.L. James buttfucks a timeline worse than Stephenie Meyer does, and if you read my rants in Eclipse and The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, you know that’s bad.

Title: To Catch A Monster
Author: [info]afterandalasia
Artist: [info]chosenfire28
Fandom(s): Twilight
Rating: R
Word Count: 10,622
Inspiration: Leah's incomparable awesomeness.
Warnings (skip) Graphic violence, character death, strong language. Discussion of imprinting, not taken to extreme lengths, which could be considered problematic.
Summary: Set a thief to catch a thief. To catch a monster...

Leah Clearwater knows that there are more dangerous things than her in the world than her, and she figures that it's her job to go out and fight them when humans can't. Then in one day, she gets in a fight, talks to a man, and meets a woman. Those aren't the sort of things that are usually exceptional, but this time they might just turn out to be. Perhaps it's time to remember that the word 'monster' was not always negative, and that there might be some hope still to come.

Disclaimer: Twilight is not mine, and I make no profit from this work.
Notes: This was actually produced for the [info]werewolfbigbang, but it was done with this comm in mind. On that note, I really want to thank the mod and artist [info]chosenfire28 and the last-minute beta Kitt who helped me with this.

Set a thief to catch a thief, the saying goes. It isn’t that old, in the way of things; perhaps three hundred years, perhaps four. There are some things that are far older.

The problem is, you see, that there are many dark things that walk the earth. Things that feed upon humans, directly or indirectly, that make men mad and tortured, that would destroy this world if given the change.

There are many monsters in this world.

Set a thief to catch a thief.

To catch a monster. . .

Here's Chapter 2!

Author: Sum422

Fandom(s): The Twilight Series, Blackadder

Rating: PG

Inspiration: The Twilight series and the amazingly funny Blackadder series!

Warnings: None, really, except for maybe the occasional gross imagery that comes from insults aimed at Baldrick!

Summary: Edmund Blackadder was turned into a vampire and now spends his undead life as a guard for the Volturi. Problem is he hates working for his superiors just as his ancestors did for theirs. When Aro challenges him to a bet: kill the Cullens and we’ll relinquish Marcus's position to you or fail and be killed, Blackadder forms a cunning plan with his filthy beyond belief dogsbody, Baldrick, to wipe out the vegetarian family and become the top vamp!

Warnings: None

Emily never wanted Claire to have to go through the horrors she had experienced. )
