Title: The Great Twilight Rewrite
Author: Neathra
Fandom(s): The Twilight Series
Rating: Teen
Word Count: 9,444
Inspiration: Both MovieBob's "How Bob would Fix Batman (Link), and Mother's Basement's "Fixing Alfheim - The Worst Part of SAO" (Link)
Warnings: Through the rewrite process, I’ve toned down a lot of the creepy factor, but it might still be there, so to be safe, if it’s a warning about the Twilight Series, It’s a warning about this.
Summary: This is a rewrite of Twilight, that aims to take the piece that Stephanie Meyer gave us, and build a version where the characters aren't mean, stupid, victim's of authorial whim, or some combination of the above. My friend challenged me to create this after we watched Youtuber Mother's Basement's video "Fixing Alfhiem" (Which you should watch Now... Go, I'll wait).

Its certainly no Lord of the Rings, but I hope that I have created a fun, fluffy, wish fulfillment story. Link

Title: Ready, Set, Don’t Go
Author: Melissa Treglia ([livejournal.com profile] gnosticdiva)
Fandom: Fifty Shades Trilogy
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 1048
Inspiration: Christian calling Ana's dad Ray about the engagement in Fifty Shades Darker, before Ana could tell her dad herself. Gehayi and Ket's comments on that scene (and an accompanying macro or two) during their sporking made me wonder what Ray might've said to Christian. Of course, a loving dad would probably have a stroke at the thought of his daughter rushing into marriage after only a few weeks, but, y'know... I tried my best with the canon we've got.
Warnings: None, despite the source material… well, unless you count a well-deserved paternal threat.

Summary: Raymond Steele gets the news his little girl will be married soon.

Someone give this poor guy a drink... )

Title: Fifty Shades of Debate
Author: Melissa Treglia ([livejournal.com profile] gnosticdiva)
Fandom: Fifty Shades Trilogy/Griffin Unbowed (homebrew)
Word Count: 2487 (for part one only)
Rating: R
Inspiration: You really have to ask? Well, I've done this before with the Twilight vs. Forever Knight Debate Trilogy, but I realized I hadn't done a Fifty Shades debate fic yet. Also, I wanted to see what my original characters (Laila and Griffin) would make of Ana and Christian. Especially as Griffin's got a (somewhat) similar backstory to Christian. Turns out, my two are less than impressed by the Greys (shocker). Incidentally, this quickly got more serious than your typical debate fic, so apologies in advance if you wanted the funsies.
Warnings: Rated R for canon origins--includes disturbing canon themes and some strong language.

Summary: Laila Chadevsky (from my and my-coauthor's original vampire novel Griffin Unbowed) vs. Anastasia Steele-Grey of the Fifty Shades trilogy.

Sex is always dirty if you do it right. )

Fandom(s): The Twilight Series
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 2665
Inspiration: Breaking Dawn Chapter 12 - Some People Just Don't Grasp the Concept of "Unwelcome" (Part I), The Wedding Crashers
Warnings: Nudity, violence, and future Leah/Castiel
Summary: Leah's been on the road by herself for a while now. That's all about to change when she meets the Winchesters.
Disclaimer: Meyer owns Twilight. Kripke and Warner Brothers own Supernatural. [livejournal.com profile] das_mervin and Mrs. Hyde own The Wedding Crashers. I'm using their timeline with permission.

Author's Note: The places mentioned are real. And this is another example of "writing while drunk." Or buzzed. Don't worry. I went back and edited it.

Title: Bump In The Night
Author: Neva
Fandom: Fifty Shades trilogy
Rating: PG
Word Count: 480
Inspiration: Chapter Five of Fifty Shades Darker, and Gehayi and Ket Makura's sporking of same, in which they provided "spoilers from the future" about Christian Grey's bodyguard and his family situation. Thanks, ladies.
Warnings: None
Summary: Seven-year-old Sophie Taylor listens to voices from the grown-up world.

Title: False Starts
Fandom(s): Twilight
Rating: General audiences
Word Count: 267
Inspiration: Das Mervin's sporking of Eclipse Chapter 1. "I ask you, dear readers, WHO THE FUCK SENDS A LETTER LIKE THAT? ... Really, that just makes his whole note look awful, and casts Jacob in a terrible light—because all it does is make his note look like the most passhole-aggresshole thing ever, and just trying to guilt-trip Bella instead of taking a stand or making a point." So, I tried to figure out what was going through Jacob's head to make him do that.
Warnings: Absolutely nothing.
Author's Notes: I know, there's already a story based on Jacob's note, but... [shrugs]
Summary: Thinking of what he wants to say is easy. Thinking of something Bella will pay attention to, on the other hand...

Title: Normal Guy vs. Edward Cullen vs. Griffin Blasko
Author: Melissa Treglia ([livejournal.com profile] gnosticdiva)
Fandom: Twilight/original series
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 728
Warning: Brief language.
Author's Note: Griffin Blasko is the hero from the vampire novel I co-wrote with a friend. He's a special (and rare) breed of vampire known as the Pureblood (which is basically an ubervamp bred as a living weapon). His human girlfriend, Laila Chadevsky, is a nice Jewish girl who's very supernatural-savvy and is often the voice of reason in his messed up life (in a nutshell, she's Grade-A [livejournal.com profile] anti_bella material). Together, they fight crime!

Summary: Yet another "Normal Guy" vs. Edward Cullen comparison--this time, featuring the Pureblood vampire Griffin Blasko.

Title: Brief Candle
Author: Melissa Treglia (aka [livejournal.com profile] gnosticdiva)
Fandom: Twilight
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 728
Inspiration: Mervin's sporking of The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, specifically the fact that Meyer failed abysmally to give Bree her own voice and make her a sympathetic character (as opposed to being Bella's Mini-Me). I've also used Bree's character sheet in the official guide to fill in the gaping holes that the Bree Tanner novella left open.
Warning: Some strong language, implied character death, and disturbing canon themes.

Summary: Not all vampires get to live forever. Some die very young.

Author: [livejournal.com profile] charamei
Fandoms: Fifty Shades of Grey/homebrew (Evanya)
Wordcount: 660
Inspiration: This chapter of Fifty Shades, in which Christian tries to excuse his... well, his personality by telling Ana he was abused as a teenager.

Summary: Christian might be giving Irien the willies, but some evil is all too mundane.

Title: You May/You May Not

Author: [livejournal.com profile] stormswift

Word Count: 2,900

Summary: Consent is paramount in the world of BDSM.

Rating: PG-13 for frank discussion of assault and boundaries; light sexytimes.

Notes: Let’s pretend that Christian is actually the experienced dom he claims to be.  This was inspired by the scene in “Fifty Shades of Grey” where José calls Ana and Christian gets upset.  This is also my attempt to rectify the portrayal of BDSM and inject this erotic novel with a little bit of actual erotica.

Title: You Could be Good For Me
Author: The 13th Fairie
Fandom: Twilight
Rating: T
Characters: Bella, Edward, Charlie and Jacob
Summary: After they return from Italy, Bella doubts Edward's love. What will she do?

This is one of those 'Bella realizes what a jerk Edward really is' fics.  It's pretty good and had Bella pointing out why Edward doesn't really love her.  She was honest with herself and look in herself.  I enjoyed that.

Warnings: Language
Summary: Smallville crossover, set during Eclipse. Lois gets a call at work that turns into much more than just a stern talking-to.
Disclaimer: I don't own Smallville. It belongs to Jerry Siegal, Joe Shuster and the CW. Twilight belongs to Stephenie Meyer.
