It's pretty cool, though I'm not a big fan of the imprinting-spite fics that made the imprintee girl be a lesbian. Maybe it's just me, but I find that it ndermines the spite a little. I find spite that has the girl be simply uninterested in dating or is asexual more powerful.

I'd think that an imprintee who is straight but not interested in that guy might be the most powerful form of rejection - ie. it's not that you're the wrong gender, it's not that I'm celibate, it's not me, it's you. But Meyer's canon doesn't acknowledge the existence of gay people, so I enjoy spitefics that bring that out.
