Bella,

I don't know why you're making Charlie carry notes to Billy like we're in second grade. If I wanted to talk to you, I would answer the phone. You made the choice here, okay? You can't have it both ways when you want to spend time with vampires and werewolves! What part of "mortal enemies" is too complicated for you to understand? I have a treaty to follow and lives to protect and you're acting like it shouldn't matter!

Look, I know I'm being a jerk, but there's no way around it. We can't be friends when you're spending all your time with a bunch of leeches. They're a threat to real human lives and it's my duty to protect the lives they could kill. Did you forget that every one of the Cullens killed someone before? What they do now doesn't change the past.

It just makes it worse when I think about you too much, so don't write anymore. I won't write back and I'm not going to answer the phone. Just choose who you want to be with already and get on with your life. So, yeah, I miss you, too. A lot. Doesn't change anything. Sorry.
