Thank you! You really should watch it (all three seasons are on DVD). It's an awesome mix of the vampire and cop genres, with flashbacks into Nick's long history.
Nick's definitely a fanboy of humans. After all, he really, really wants to be one, and he prefers hanging out with his partner (he works as a homicide detective on the night shift) and with Natalie than he does with any of his own kind. And the other vamps give him SO much crap for it.
