Title: Edward Meets Sherlock Holmes
Author: Van Wolfe
Rating: T
Length: 3,724
Status: Complete
Author's Summary: "Why did Edward stop hunting criminals? During those brief ten years, he was just like a superhero... So why? Because he met someone. A man named Sherlock Holmes."

My notes: Warning for use of gun violence and vampiric strength-induced injuries. So obviously the author is a Twilight fan attempting to give Edward a redemption for those ten years where he casually slaughtered countless innocent civilians. That really doesn't take away from the awesomeness of this fic, because the other principal character is Sherlock Freaking Holmes and Van Wolfe writes him like he ought to be written: FREAKING AWESOME. I won't spoil much for you, but I am quite amused and satisfied by this story, even if the author treats Edward better than he deserves to be.

Please let me know if I miss-tagged anything, and ENJOY.

Title: Condemned
Author: That Vintage Dress
Rating: T
Length: 3346
Status: Complete
Summary: Finally you cry because you know that you will never escape from loving him. A different kind of QuilClaire story.
Reccer's comments: An exploration of just how messed up the concept of imprinting is. The fic's a little melodramatic at times, but it actually moved me to tears.

Title: The Art of Self Deception
Author: Silver Pard
Rating: K+
Length: 2284
Status: Complete
Summary: She makes lists and burns them, as if that means they never existed.
Reccer's comments: An almost lyrical analysis of Bella's thoughts and her justification on her so called "love". Beautifully written and really makes you think.

Title: moves in mysterious ways
Author: Lisse
Rating: K+
Length: 5328
Status: Complete
Summary: Sometimes the prey evolves, or at least learns how to issue restraining orders. Metafic.
Reccer's comments: How a normal sensible person would react to being stalked by a vampire. My favourite thing about this fic is that there is a relationship between the characters and that it is not romantic at all. A wonderfully written story that made me smile.

Title: Eternal Night
Author: Asahel
Rating: None given. I'd say PG.
Length: 1,182
Summary: None given. In fact, a summary might spoil it.
Status: Complete
Reccer's comments: This fic takes the ridiculous invincibility of Twilight's vampires and, yes, brings it to its hauntingly logical extreme. It'sterrifying, gorgeously written, and absolutely beautiful. I can't rec it enough. In other words, it's hands down one of my favourite anti-fics ever and I suggest that you go read it.

1. Title: Be Dazzled: A Supernatural Twilight crossover
Author: iSparkle616
Rating: T
Length: ~ 22,900 (Prologue + 7 chapters + Epilogue)
Summary: It was supposed to be a normal hunt for the Winchesters. Too bad they ended up in Forks, Washington.
Status: Complete
Reccer's comments: This story is kind of the reason I requested a rec tag in the first place; it's a pitch-perfect parody of Twilight, and features two very well-written Winchester brothers kicking vampiric ass in their own inimitable way. Trust me, it's hilarious, and neatly points out Twilight's flaws without sounding preachy about it. (And Sam and Dean's reactions to Bella and the Cullens is comic gold, I swear). Not much by way of spoilers, as there's no Jacob or the werewolves, and as far as SPN goes, this is set late in the first season. If you don't know much about SPN, don't worry; the story's still pretty easy to understand.

2. Title: Friday's Child
Author: Lisse
Rating: K
Length: ~800
Summary: Ten facts about one girl. Sorta-metafic, ginormous Breaking Dawn spoilers.
Status: Complete
Reccer's comments: You have no idea how much I love this story. It's set years after BD (so spoilers for all four books) and presents Renesmee in a completely different light - it presents her as a well-rounded character, who is curious about and yearns for the human part of her heritage. The lovely thing is, the story stays true to Twilight canon, yet makes these little tongue-in-cheek jabs at the wrongness inherent in the books - both Twilight fans and those who hate the books can read this and feel satisfied. That's not mentioning the quality of the writing - it's lyrical and beautiful, and the last line left me smiling with pleasure and pride. I cannot rec it enough.
