That's actually just a charming coincidence. I like to talk to inanimate objects like they're kittens on the rare occasion and even call my car a "lil' car." Some stuff here is from my own life, like the relationship between Mark and Jessica is supposed to be an awkward mix between older brother/younger sister and uncle/niece due to relatively close ages (based on my relationship with an uncle), Lauren was supposed to become a "victim" of a spider dive-bomb attack during a test (which happened to me during an AP test) but the idea was scrapped, and while I was hunting for an example of a classic car to show Bella's truck has some value to it, I used my family's orange '63 BelAir lowrider.
It's still a pleasant coincidence since Howl's Moving Castle is a favorite book of mine.
