You're right; this was really depressing. As satisfying as it was to see Charlie call Bella out on her behavior, it still was heartbreaking to read his final thoughts.

Just a quick question: is the glass angel supposed to represent how Bella views Edward? Is it supposed to symbolize what Bella wants to become? Or is it just a symbol of Bella's lost innocence?
