This was beautiful. It made me happy because Charlie was so awesome and sad because Charlie was treated so horribly. My dad abandoned me committed suicide when I was two, and my mom raised me pretty much on her own. It looks like I'll be getting a stepdad in the next couple years, who's so nice I alternately hate and adore him, but seriously... if I had a dad like Charlie, I would count myself as the luckiest girl on the planet.
